Studying of sapropel deposits of the ZhinvaliWaterBasin for the purpose of manufacture of mineral fertilizers and raw materials for ceramic manufacture  

Ground deposits of the Zhinvali water basin are considered as geological object, mass of which represents a mineral. In the result of preliminary supervision it is revealed, that sapropel deposits the Zhinvali water basin are suitable for manufacture of high-quality natural fertilizers. Their stocks are self-replenishing and practically inexhaustable. (by data of 1999 the quantity reached 20-25 million м3).  The mineral fraction of sapropel deposits of the Zhinvali water basin is presented by a material of denudation of black shale layers which are often suitable for use in the form of raw materials of ceramic manufacture (a brick, tiles). Preliminary researches of silts of Zhinvali water basin also confirmed the above-mentioned.  For the solution of the presented problem it's necessary to study geological characteristics and physical and chemical parameters of sapropel deposits of Zhinvali water basin. For that purpose conducting of specialised geological works and primary technological researches is planned.
